This project included a thorough review of legislation and an institutional framework for urban revitalization projects in areas prone to earthquakes. We analyzed national/regional laws & institutional mandates and examined recent revitalization projects.

Our work integrated policy research on the nation’s housing market dynamics, types of tenure, housing finance system, and recent developments in the nation’s housing policies. We developed planning and financing schemes and tools tailored to the country’s legal/institutional context.
